Antidrug Challenges and Opportunities in the Frontiers of One Belt One Road & Annual Meeting of AASAR Comes to a Successful End



Launched in 2017.11.27 in Kunming, Yunnan, the meeting “Antidrug Challenges and Opportunities in the Frontiers of One Belt One Road & Annual Meeting of AASAR” was organized by AASAR, University of Macau, Research & Support Center for Narcotics Control and AIDS Prevention Yunnan University, Chinese Association of Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Chapter of Medicine Maintenance Therapy. Shared the up-to-date findings from research and practical agencies, the meeting established a cross-national cooperation platform for Asian Countries.

The conference attracted more than 200 scholars, governmental officers, and specialties in related fields from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and counties in Southeast Asian, and collected 73 abstracts and full-text papers from seven topics, including: (1) Anti-drug strategy under the perspective of “One Belt One Road” (2) Drug, crime and AIDS (3) Governance on new psychoactive substances and precursor chemicals, (4) Anti-drug and drug rehabilitation (Community anti-drug and rehabilitation) (5) Anti-drug prevention and public education (6) International cooperation on anti-drug (7) Anti-drug legislation and enforcement.
