Committee on Psychotherapy for Drug Addiction of the Asian Association for Substance Abuse Research (CPDA of AASAR)

The Committee on Psychotherapy of Drug Addiction was established by the Asian Association for Substance Abuse Research to pool the collective wisdom of the psychotherapy field to research, develop, promote and apply cost-effective treatment methods for drug abuse. In order to enhance the professionalism and effectiveness of psychotherapy, better services are provided for drug addicts.

By-Laws

The professional committee is a voluntary academic organization that is composed of theoretical researchers and practical workers who are committed to the psychological treatment of drug addiction in Asia.

The purpose of this professional committee is to promote the development of psychological treatment of drug addiction in Asia, to save more drug addiction patients, to help patients get psychosomatic recovery, return to the normal life path, to help patients' families to restart the peace and happiness, to maintain the social harmony and stability;

The goal of the professional committee is to develop effective theories, methods, and techniques for the psychological treatment of drug addiction, to arm the professional team for the psychological treatment of drug addiction, to save all drug addicts and their families through hard practice, and to help the society more stable and harmonious;

Obey the leadership of the Asian Association for Substance Abuse Research and actively participate in the business activities of the AASAR;

Obey the leadership of the national government and play its due role in the psychological treatment of drug addiction;

Actively carry out academic exchanges, hold annual meetings, special lectures, regular or irregular sharing meetings of theories, cases, and experiences together or separately with the superior societies, so as to flourish the research on the psychological treatment of drug addiction, and jointly improve the theoretical level and professional technical level of the psychological treatment of drug addiction;

Strengthen the construction of psychological treatment of drug addiction, organize and carry out professional training, train excellent psychological counselors or therapists of drug addiction that combine theory with practice for the cause of psychological treatment of drug addiction in Asia, and implement the purpose and gradually realize the goal of the special committee through them;

Members' responsibility:

Members: join voluntarily, pay membership dues, quit freely; AASAR shall examine and issue membership cards; To quit, a written application should be submitted, and a membership card should be returned. If a member does not pay the membership fee for more than one year or does not participate in the activities of the Association for a long time, it will be regarded as an automatic withdrawal. If there is a serious violation of the By-Laws of Committee, the Standing Committee shall vote to remove the name from the list. Members shall have the right to vote and stand for election; Members have priority to participate in academic or training activities, and have the right to criticize, suggest and supervise the work of the Committee; Members shall abide by the regulations of the Committee, implement the resolutions of the Committee and work hard;

Committee Members: Members shall submit their applications, and the expert group shall, according to the selection criteria of members, elect young committee members of the professional committee or positions above, which shall be approved and appointed by the AASAR; As the backbone of the professional committee, all members have the responsibility and obligation to assist the development of AASAR and the professional committee, actively participate in academic activities, develop and lead members to carry out academic exchanges and training, organize research and development or participate in psychological therapy and other activities conducive to the development of drug addiction causes. Young members actively participate in academic activities, improve their theoretical and professional skills, strive to practice, accumulate practical research and work experience, and actively share; In addition to actively participating in academic activities, members help young members and members improve their theoretical and professional level; Develop academic and social members and help them grow; Have the responsibility and obligation to assist the professional committees in their work;

Development Plan

The professional committee adheres to the road of comprehensive development, and firmly takes the road of forging ahead, development, innovation, pragmatism and service, so that all members and members can continuously improve the theory, method and technology of psychological treatment for addiction, and better serve the addicts, their families and the society. In order to do a good job in the relevant work, the development plan for 2021-2023 is formulated as follows:

I. Academic Work:
The academic department is responsible for the development of the professional academic level of the committee in the field of psychological treatment of drug addiction.
The members of the academic department are: Professor Zhang Xiaochu, the vice chairman of the committee. The members are: Professor Ku Yixuan, Professor Bao Yanping, Professor Xue Yanxue, Chief Physician Pang Liangjun, Professor Zhang Yi, and Professor Wang Wei
We will work in three areas:
1. Establishment of Academic Advisory Committee: The Academic Advisory Committee shall be nominated by the President, the Vice President and the Standing Committee members and approved by the President. The basic requirement of the committee members is that they have a good reputation in the field of addiction research within the Asian context. Basic work: guide the research work of the members of the society, and report the research results at academic conferences.
2. Carry out academic conferences regularly: find out expert resources, organize relevant experts to hold national special lectures and conferences in a certain field, and the annual conferences have a continuous theme. Assist in determining the academic theme of each issue; Assist in screening the manuscripts submitted for each academic conference; Assist in identifying candidates for each academic oral presentation; When the conditions are ripe, to assist in each academic conference manuscript evaluation.
3. Actively help members to publish their research results in high-level journals at home and abroad: hold lectures on article writing and addiction diagnosis and intervention technology; When conditions are ripe, apply for special issues in Frontiers, especially open to members.
Three-year Plan:
Assist to hold academic meetings regularly or irregularly every year according to the meeting schedule of the institute and the professional committee.
In 2021, an academic advisory committee of 3-5 members will be initially established, which will be supplemented at each academic meeting according to invited presenters.
A lecture on essay writing and addiction diagnosis and intervention technology will be held in 2022. If possible, we will try our best to make the lecture regular and large-scale.
In 2023, I will apply for the special issue of psychological treatment of drug addiction in Frontiers series magazine, especially for the contribution of members of this professional committee.

II. Training:
By training department is responsible for, a baseline social demand, facing the clinical psychology workers, doctors, drug addiction treatment the judiciary police officers, social workers, and the social from all walks of life, dedicated to promoting knowledge and cutting-edge development of drug addiction and withdrawal, to hold professional suitable for clinical operation, able to solve practical problems, structured training, including drug addiction intervention therapy theory, method and technology. Set up fixed items, classified courses and training, increase the credibility and authority of the certificate, increase the gold content of the certificate.
The training department consists of Professor Zeng Hong, Professor Wang Zengzhen, Professor Hu Zhongming, Professor Wei Zhuo, Director Shen Jing, Director Liu Zhanrui, Senior Psychological Consultant Yuan Rongqin, Registered Supervisor Chen Peihua and Director Liu Xiaobin.
There are three main types of training:
The first type is the training within the society, which is held in the form of pre-conference or in-conference workshops of workshops or conferences of the society to carry out the training on a certain topic.
The second category aims at the needs of people from all walks of life in the form of issuing certificates to carry out long and short course training. Among them, the training of addiction counselors is the main promotion project. Through carrying out the training of the knowledge and skills of addiction and psychological treatment, and meeting certain academic hours, the certificate of psychological counsellor for addiction abstinence shall be issued;
The third category is supervisory training. According to the development situation, the counselors engaged in addiction treatment are supervised in the form of groups and individuals to help them improve the level of psychological counseling and treatment, and at the same time improve the awareness of ethical norms in the industry, so as to develop into a more professional direction. This kind of training can provide supervision hours to help supervisors apply for certified consultants and supervisors of the Chinese Psychological Association.
Three-year training plan:
2021: Continue the training of addiction counselors; Strive to carry out an offline drug rehabilitation judicial police training; According to the needs of some counties and cities in Guangxi, training courses for psychological counselors on addiction treatment were carried out. Conducting 2-3 workshops during or before the inaugural meeting of the committee to conduct training on a particular topic;
2022: continue to open the training of addiction counselors to all sectors of society; Organize the training of addiction counselors according to the training needs of Guangxi or other provinces and cities; Conduct more than 4-5 psychotherapy workshops on addiction;
2023: continue to open the training of addiction counselors to all sectors of society; According to the application and approval of the project, train the psychological counseling staff for the society; Conduct 5-6 psychotherapy workshops on addiction;
In three years, we will strive to train 50-100 addiction counselors and carry out 12-15 addiction counseling workshops.

III. Secretary and Organizational Development:
Responsible for by the Department of Secretarial Work and Organization Development, it is committed to the organization development and the maintenance of the work of the special committee, assists and coordinates the relevant activities of the special committee, provides effective support for the work of all departments, and develops members, committee members and unit members. More professionals from their own countries, especially from the Asian region, should be recommended to join the committee. Strengthen contacts abroad, and to promote this branch of memorabilia from branch and each work well and every six months or a year to evaluate and reward the work plan to carry out the situation, the committee member in the branch of the dedication of performance, keep branch of work order, absent for many times and can't take an active part in activities committee recommendations, subsequently approved by the chair. Three-year Plan:

4. Publicity
Responsible for by the publicity department, this department is committed to publicizing drug rehabilitation and drug control knowledge to the society and target groups, improving people's understanding of the harm of drugs and psychological treatment of drug rehabilitation and improving the popularity and reputation of the special committee. Plan to jointly organize on-site or online psychological communication salons, seminars and forums with the academic department to promote the communication and growth of peers, and co-organize meetings with similar societies or associations at home and abroad to enhance the popularity of the special committee; Cooperate with the training department to hold on-site or online training courses on psychological treatment of addiction, psychological supervision, to help the growth of front-line workers.
The Publicity Department is composed of Professor Fanny, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, and members are Director Zhou Lihui, Doctor Lan Xiaochang, Doctor Ding Yi (member), Doctor He Tingyu (member), Consultant Wang Xuetong (member), Consultant Wang Yuan (member).
Three-year Plan:
